Interns
As of 2012 Austin Health will be recruiting our interns separately from Northern Health, and anticipate around 55 positions for interns will be available. Key to the continued success of our program is the support and care given to our interns across this vital introduction to working in the hospital system.

HMO2
Our second post graduate year medical, general and surgical streams allow you to concentrate on your areas of interest whilst keeping future options open. Personal situations and needs are considered with rostering and there is flexibility in rosters across the year.

As a large tertiary hospital we offer a breadth and depth of third year rotations to hone your clinical development. We value and recognise your need for dedicated program-specific training as well as recognising the importance of balancing work, education and life commitments.

Registrars
Our Registrars are appointed directly to Austin Health as well as through Victorian and National programs. Details of how to apply for the 23 directly appointed clinical areas at Austin Health are available with individual information sheets including contact details, for each unit.
